CASEY TREES SUMMER CREW

Change the life of a young person who may one day change the world.

Each summer, Casey Trees invites nine high school students to serve as Casey Trees Summer Crew.  Students are selected from across the DC Metro region and spend eight weeks developing professional and urban forestry skills.

Students work outdoors in teams, caring for trees and educating residents and business owners about the many benefits of trees and tree care.

Additionally, students are exposed to "green" careers such as arboriculture, urban agriculture, organic gardening, landscaping, and more.

All selected interns students are are at least 16 years old and enrolled full-time in high school or have recently graduated. Selection is competitive.

Benefits

Sponsors of Casey Trees Summer Crew receive:

• Prominent recognition as a sponsoring individual or group on all Casey Trees Summer Crew program materials and press releases and on the Casey Trees website
• A Commemorative Tree planted in recognition of the sponsoring individual or group at a Community Tree Planting event
